National Symphony Orchestra in your Neighborhood

  • The Lincoln Theater Washington, DC (map)

No tickets required – seating is on a first come, first served basis. The musicians of the NSO embrace the “anything goes” energy of U Street on a Saturday night by trading their typical formal attire for a more casual, fun-loving vibe led by “next-gen” guest conductor Christian Reif. Grab a drink at the bar and join in on the excitement with this full-orchestra program of lively contemporary works, to include music by such innovative composers as singer/songwriter Ted Hearne (who also performs on the concert), Jonathan Bailey Holland (The Party Starter), and Gabriela Lena Franck. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
